Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT is a type of psychotherapy that encourages people to lead meaningful lives by teaching mental flexibility.  It helps people observe themselves in the present moment, accept challenging feelings without judgment, and taking action towards their goals. This is accomplished through value clarification, mindfulness and behaviour change strategies.

ACT is proven to be effective in treating mental health conditions, like depression, stress, and post-traumatic stress.
